My wife and I live at Picnic Point Esplanade in Maroochydore.
Our house is approximately 7 years old. Prior to constructing our house, we demolished an old structure of 2 flats and during demolition we, became aware that white ants were present in the old building. As the foundations were prepared, we ensured that treatment for white ants was as well catered for as we were able to do. Kordon was used and as an added precaution, under the slab was sprayed with an appropriate deterrent as recommended by the appliers.
We suspected white ant action in our house and contacted Archers Termite and Pest Control who visited our house promptly, confirmed that we had termites and applied the appropriate substance to eliminate them.
Whilst this action eliminated the termites present in our house, Archers recommended that we should ensure that termites did not enter at a future date and recommended an application of termite perimeter barrier using termidor around the perimeter of our house.
They advised that they were a few weeks away from receiving the first delivery of Termi Slab Seals ,which they had designed and suggested that we wait until these arrived .
We followed their advice and we are pleased that we did so as it became obvious that the injection of solution in the drill holes of the concrete pathway surround to our house in the required quantity and necessary pressure would have resulted in the overflow of the barrier solution through the drill holes had the rubber seals not been in place. We observed that all injected solution remained below the slab with no overflow above ground as would have been the case had the seals not been used.
My background is 45 year’s experience in the civil construction industry and I have had senior roles in this industry and would recommend these seals be used to all such treatments.

I with my partner, operate Abbey Pest Management, a pest control business on the Sunshine Coast, that
specialises in Subterranean Termites, Borer control and Timber Protection.
The work that we carry out, involves providing termite barriers and solutions for existing buildings and new
buildings.

cause to source and use your new product Termi Slab Seal.
I felt that after using Termi Slab Seal on two jobs, it was important to write to you in order to tell you of the
success that we have had using the new Termi Slab Seal product.
I have noted that our customers, where we have explained that we will be using Termi Slab Seal as part of the
termite protection process and the reasons why we were using your product, have even more confidence in
our ability and professionalism.
We explain that the new Termi Slab Seal system, helps us look after their property and their families health
and safety whilst the works are being carried out.
The Termi Slab Seal system, ensures that the termiticide that is injected under the concrete, will stay under
the concrete and not run over the face of the concreted areas and that this ensures that the area to be treated
receives the full amount of termiticide required for the area being treated and doesn’t allow wastage of the
termiticide to occur whilst injecting.
The system allows us to ensure that the pressure we inject the termiticide at, doesn’t pose a safety hazard to
the technicians and the occupants, in relation to blow back.
The other benefits include but are not limited to the fact, that when the slab area requires reinjecting, due to
the serviceable life of the termiticide being limited to a certain number of years, the caps that are installed
now, can be removed and the existing Termi Slab Seal fitting can be reinjected.
We have found that the Termi Slab Seal is ideal in situations where we have to inject through the side of brick
or concrete walls, as the sealing ability of the Termi Slab Seals is such, that the full amount of the termiticide
is able to be placed in the position required, without the worry of the termiticide running out and down the
face of the wall or even worse, over the operator.
There are numerous other benefits to be had when using this product and over time. I am confident that our
